Whistleblowing

In compliance with the provisions of D.lgs. 10 March 2023, n. 24 (c.d. “Decreto Whistleblowing”) IRION S.B.R.L. has adopted a reporting management system to handle reports, including anonymous ones, as required by the aforementioned decree.

The process complies with the regulatory changes introduced by the Whistleblowing Decree, implementing Directive (EU) 2019/1937 of the European Parliament and of the Council of October 23, 2019, on the protection of persons who report breaches of Union law and laying down provisions regarding the protection of persons who report breaches of national laws.

For the submission and management of reports IRION S.B.R.L. has implemented a dedicated IT platform, which is a preferred channel for submitting reports.

By registering the report on this portal, a unique identification code, “key code”, will be displayed, which can be used to “dialogue” with the writing Organization in a depersonalized manner and to be constantly informed about the processing status of the submitted report.

It is recommended that the unique identification code of the report should not be disclosed and should be carefully kept, as it cannot be recovered or duplicated in any way if it is lost.

Guarantee of confidentiality and safeguards

D.lgs. 24/2023, introduced unified regulation of reporting channels and protections afforded to whistleblowers in the public and private sectors.

No form of personal or professional retaliation is allowed or tolerated because of the report made. If you believe you have been retaliated against because of the report, you can notify the National Anti-Corruption Authority (ANAC) through the IT Platform.

All processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with the legislation on the protection of personal data.

Reporting to the National Anti-Corruption Authority (ANAC) via external channel

In the event that after making a report you do not receive an acknowledgement of receipt and/or feedback on the action taken on the report, or you have reasonable grounds to believe (based on factual circumstances and information that can actually be acquired) that the internal report would not be effectively followed up or that the report may result in retaliation, or that the violation may constitute an imminent or obvious danger to the public interest, you may transmit a report to ANAC via the IT Platform.
