Helping others help

Irion, Turin IT company, donates 50,000 euros to the Specchio dei Tempi Foundation to help the city’s health system severely tested by the Corona virus. The donation will go towards the purchase of 6 multi-parameter monitors for Intensive care use at the Molinette Hospital. Similar to other respiratory diseases, Corona virus can cause severe complications that require intensive care hospitalization.

“We feel it is our duty to help those who are on the front line dealing with the emergency. We, along with our staff, want to a positive message and concrete commitment to the cause.” – Alberto Scavino, CEO

Irion’s priority is the maximum protection of people: #noirestiamoacasa (we stay home), with over 99% of employees working from home, to protect everyone’s health and allow for normal business to go on, guaranteeing services and customer support.

The donation to Specchio dei Tempi is one of the Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives the company deeply cares about. Another initiative is the Irion for Family program, an innovative economic support plan to cover costs of raisins children as well as their education through the corporate welfare tool.

By subsiding parents, the plan provides for a series of contributions: a € 500 child birth bonus, a € 2,500 annual contribution children of nursery age, € 1,000 for kindergarten, € 700 per child in primary school and € 500 from middle school through graduation.

“We look to the future with confidence, with the belief that with everyone’s contribution we can come out of the emergency and our country and families will make a new start.” – Alberto Scavino, CEO.
