Operations and RPA: Our very own Mauro Tuvo among the speakers of the ABILab workshop

We will be among the protagonists of the second day of “Operations and RPA”, the workshop organized by ABILab on Thursday 4 and Friday 5 of October, at the ABI headquarters in via Olona, Milan.

An opportunity to deepen, thanks to the intervention of top experts in the sector, the transformations affecting banking operations and the role thatRPA (Robotic Process Automation) is covering and will cover in back office processes efficiency .

The second day is entirely dedicated to RPA, which has a strong impact on the evolution of Operations, allowing rapid intervention on automation of specific tasks. Mauro Tuvo, Irion’s Principal Advisor will speak during the second session of the day, entitled  RPA, BPM and Data Governance: a winning trio?, scheduled from 11:45 to 13:00. The aim of his speech will be to analyze the main elements to pay attention to, in terms of governance of the processes supported by robots, and processed information tracking. Proven experience suggests the need to reflect on the integration between RPA and business tools of Business Process Management and Data Governance.

The issue is particularly dear to Irion. In fact, we have already had the opportunity to work with important Italian banks, such as Credito Valtellinese banking group, in the efficiency of some back office processes, in combination with process automation technologies. With the use of RPA alone, despite numerous benefits in terms of direct cost, risk, peak management and processing time, there are potential problems that make it essential to support it with a valid Data Management support, such as our platform, for the management of access to data and determination of rules and operating conditions that guide the component operation.
